Overview

THE ROLE:

 

The Director, HR Global Project Management will oversee the internationally distributed project management team and support all new technical and functional launches, and revisions the team is working towards completing. This role will be expected to partner with Corporate/Regional HR, Informaton Technology, Global Business Services/Shared Services, and report up to Executives on progress and updates. This position is a direct report to the VP, Global HR Programs, Projects, Processes, and HRIS.

 

Responsibilities and tasks associated with the role

  • Influence senior leadership, stakeholders, and resource managers to align and agree to proposed timelines, which requires the ability to balance competing priorities and smooth contention
  • Oversee and participate in the collaboration of the planning, developing, and deploying of PMO continuous improvements projects and process design to enhance productivity and speed to delivery
  • Establish and oversee Project Management processes, artifacts, and tools to create a strategy to support changes to gain efficiency
  • Directly and indirectly supervise, both remotely and locally, all HR Project Managers leading worldwide projects
  • Rely on extensive experience of executing HR Program strategies for HCM, Onboarding, Talent Acquistion, Performance and Compensation, Workforce Management, HR Analytics, and Case Management tools
  • Define and measure success metrics, monitor, and report to Senior Management for various reports
  • Work with teams to communicate vision and strategy to achieve company and department objectives
  • Lead global cross-functional team meetings and conduct timely follow-ups to track project deliverables from team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ related experience in Global HR leading large projects and initiatives
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience leading a team

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As a leader, the Director, will be responsible for helping team members think through challenges, providing stretch assignments and developmental opportunities, and coordinating work among team members
  • Mentor and train leaders to ensure optimal team dynamics and individual career growth, broadening their understanding of servant leadership, and building a succession plans for the future

Qualifications

Education

  • B.A. in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • SHRM, PMP, or SAFe certifications a plus
