Overview

THE ROLE:

The Senior Analyst, Global Product Sourcing will be responsible for crafting and executing Request for Proposal and Request for Information (RFx) in support of the Global Product Sourcing team for their high value and high complexity sourcing initiatives globally.   The Senior Analyst, Global Product Sourcing will work directly with the Global Product Sourcing category managers and facilitate the best RFx process and strategy for the category being competitively bid utilizing an electronic RFx tool. This person will leverage an understanding of procurement policies and procedures to provide efficient customer support, process improvement and troubleshooting.  The position will also be responsible for RFx analysis, reporting and researching documents, maintaining database information, and executing tasks and projects in an efficient and timely manner.

 

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

  • Run RFx process for high value and strategic projects, using a RFx Technology Sourcing Tool, managing communication with vendors in a structured and timely manner. 
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to ensure the best templates and strategies are utilized for the RFx process and advise on negotiation strategy
  • Ensure information contained in the RFx content is complete, accurate and maximizes sourcing strategies. 
  • Escalate sourcing and supplier challenges to Category Manager.
  • Provide support, guidance and leadership to Sourcing Analyst, to help the team drive the best possible results. 
  • Perform complex data analysis and communicate conclusions in a clear and concise manner (graphs, charts, PowerPoint and verbal presentations).
  • Prepare and maintain a repository of electronic templates and standard language for Request for Pricing (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI).
  • Prepare custom content Request for All or Request for Information needs. 
  • Coordinate responses for Request for Pricing (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes, and consolidate in a presentable output for Category Managers and Stakeholders to review.

Working with a team of over 50+ Direct Sourcing colleagues around the world, the team is focused to identify the best opportunity to source for any region, delivering incremental value and external innovation back to the brand and customer. With true global sourcing scale and responsibility, we concentrate to sync process and encourage regular teamwork to source the best Products at a global scale.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Coach, mentor and develop 1-2 Analyst in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Knowledge and ability to structure supplier RFx with high complexity.
  • Strong analytical skills backed up by advanced knowledge of related tools (e.g., Excel lookups, pivot tables and charts).
  • Extensive experience in strategic sourcing analysis.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams.
  • Proven track record to handle large and disparate data sets. Experience and proficiency with Coupa Sourcing software or similar procurement software. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience and proficiency with Coupa Sourcing software or similar procurement software is a plus.

Experience:

  • 4 years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or related.
  • Project management experiences are a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or university degree, ideally Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finances, Industrial Engineering or related.
