The Role:
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing online marketing campaigns to potentially increase traffic and sales. The role requires the ability to project plan and execute through multiple channels simultaneously, both hands-on capacity as well as working with cross-functional teams to acquire the latest corporate, sales and marketing, and Information Technology/Services (IS) initiatives. This position requires skill and knowledge in area of specialization (email, web, SMS).



How You Would Contribute:

•   Provide direction on execution of online marketing campaigns to potentially increase traffic and sales. Apply technical/business skill in area of specialization (email, web, SMS). Directly responsible for high traffic digital outlets in niche area.
•   Analyze reports from Adobe and Salesforce to provide insights and form recommendations to management. Initiate work requests that meet Distributer needs.
•   Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate online messaging, relevance, and consistency of messaging across multiple networks and online channels.
•   Work in various digital properties to improve KPIs that result in optimization of various marketing campaigns. Interpret web metrics for digital outlets that can be turned into actions.
•   Form SEO recommendations on all related content that impact Distributor easy to find online content. Maintain brand standard processes guidelines.
•   Provide cohesive content strategy through a focus on content personalization and engagement on all levels of the sales and marketing plan and for online personas. Maintain a strategic balance of relevant and important communications based on content calendar.
•   Identify test opportunities to improve digital efficiency. Research and evaluate new technology trends and identify new optimization opportunities.
•   Translate complex data into a story that is easy to digest and present to executives.
•   Run internal meetings in specialized area with stakeholders and peers to review campaign performance. Act as proxy for manager on calls or meetings.
•   Identify potential opportunities to improve campaign performance.
•   Build systems and procedural documentation for internal use.
•   Provide direction to project teams and effectively delegate project assignments.
•   Build email communications with the use of provided templates or by building full HTML/CSS/JavaScript coded emails. Write clean, performant code. Stage emails on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
•   Build content pages for and associated sites through the TeamSite environment or other CMS platforms.
•   Perform additional duties as assigned.


Skills And Background Required To Be Successful:

•   Knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript email staging on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
•   Proficient in web analytics applications, strong database skills, and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
•   Deep understanding of Adobe Digital Experience suite
•   Highly organized and detail oriented
•   Familiar with email optimization practices.
•   Ability to prioritize workload for effective implementation.
•   Ability to work within a multi-cultural, virtual team environment.
•   Passionate, driven, strong sense of urgency.



•   3 years of experience in digital technologies or web publishing.
•   3 years of experience executing digital marketing campaigns.
•   3 years of experience building websites and using web development tools, including CMS, HTML or other common frameworks
•   3 years of experience with enterprise email provider (i.e., Salesforce, ExactTarget, Mailchimp).
•   3 years of experience with Digital Marketing platforms and tactics (customer insights, customer experience, KPIs and measurement, marketing technology and infrastructure, and process and governance)
•   3 years of SEO experience
•   3 years of experience in web-based analytical tools (i.e., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and tracking metrics to measure results
•   1-2 years in a leadership position (projects, initiatives, or people)



•   Bachelor’s degree, or 4 additional years of relevant professional work experience in lieu of degree
•   Adobe and Salesforce digital marketing certifications
