Overview

THE ROLE: 

As an Analyst in the Analytics & AI Enablement team, you will work closely with Sr. Manager of AI & Analytics in crafting strategy, supporting initiatives, and communicating with business. Your main focus will be on educating business on various aspects of data preparation, data models and governance aspects to ensure the best utilization of analytics and AI systems, tools, and technologies. You will supply to the development of data-driven strategies and collaborate with multi-functional teams to enable AI-driven capabilities across the organization.

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: 

  • Connect with business to review the data, analytics and AI strategies and support the utilization of technology and systems.
  • Discuss requirements with business and translate it to the internal technical teams so that they can work on development and implementation of analytics and AI projects.
  • Assist other technical Analytics & AI analysts to prepare, cleanse, and transform data to ensure its quality, consistency, and availability for analytical modeling.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can supply to the development of predictive or prescriptive models.
  • Support the development and evaluation of machine learning models, including feature engineering, model selection, and hyper-parameter tuning.
  • Review the performance monitoring and validation of analytics and AI models to ensure their accuracy, adaptability, and alignment to business objectives and encapsulate it in a way business can understand and appreciate.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams in building the right data & analytics solutions that best serve their needs.
  • Contribute to the documentation of analytical processes, methodologies, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and repeatability.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, techniques, and tools in the field of analytics and AI, and make recommendations for their adoption and application.
  • Collaborate with business and multi-functional teams to see opportunities for applying analytics and AI techniques to improve business processes, decision-making, and outcomes.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

  • Good interpersonal skills to collaborate optimally with business partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for working with data and extracting insights.
  • Familiarity with data preparation techniques, including data cleansing, transformation, and feature engineering.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to optimally communicate analytical findings.
  • Solid attention to detail and the ability to analyze sophisticated and large datasets.
  • Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in BI application building reports dashboards and supporting users.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
