Overview

THE ROLE:

The Multi-Media Specialist will provide a comprehensive solution to content creation through various mediums. The role involves crafting, filming, editing, and delivering video content that includes interviews, supplementary footage, motion graphics, and audio mixing, among other elements. Tasks may involve creating static or animated info-graphics, capturing still photographs, designing social media memes, and preparing presentation materials. The Specialist is expected to work independently and collaboratively within our production team. They will meet with project stakeholders to comprehend the objectives and message of each project and ensure the successful achievement of project goals, deadlines, and budgets.


HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

•   Manage and coordinate the video production process for assigned projects, spanning from pre-production to the final project delivery.   Direct the creative aspects of projects such as animations, commercials, motion graphics, corporate reels, documentaries, and social media content. 
•   Communicate and collaborate with corporate, regional clients, and a creative director to establish the intended message and objectives of each project, determine the creative direction, budget and timeline for the projects. 
•   Carry out video shoots in both studio and remote locations; to include pre-production and production duties.  Capture still photographs as needed. Periodically develop static and animated presentation materials and infographics.
•   Manage the project review and approval process and ensure the successful delivery and playback or broadcast of the final projects.   Deliver all projects within the designated timeframe and budget, while keeping track of essential contracts, invoices, and documents.
•   Stay informed about the latest industry practices and technologies through research and provide recommendations; perform additional assigned duties as required.

The worldwide events team at Herbalife partners with various corporate and regional teams to produce robust experiential and training events. A critical component of this partnership is the video production team.  Production team members are able to showcase their talent, creativity and expertise in this collaborative environment.  Using the latest technology with the mentality of continuous improvement, we are always working to push creative boundaries in new and exciting ways.
 

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

1.   Strong communication and multitasking: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines and successfully multitask.  Knowledge of file management and organization.
2.   Versatile production crew member: Capable of working in various positions within a production crew.
3.   Proficiency in multimedia software: Skilled in non-linear editing, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and related software.  Mac and PC proficient.
4.   Visual and graphic design expertise: Proficient in visual and graphic design using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; to include 2d and 3d motion graphics.
5.   Tech-savvy and research skills: Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, FTP clients, and general internet search and research.
6.   Strong creative and organizational skills: Demonstrates strength in creativity, organization, and attention to detail. Knowledge and understanding of file management and organization.
7.   Great teammate with independent work ability: Can function effectively as part of a team or independently with specific or ambiguous direction.

 

Education and Experience:

 

Bachelor’s degree in film and video production, broadcast journalism, media arts, communications, or proven progressive responsibility in these or related fields.


5+ years of production experience inclusive of film directing, film producing, art directing, shooting, interviewing, recording, editing, and finishing professional quality video media.
