Overview
THE ROLE:
The Technician I, Changeover is responsible for the effective changeover of the packaging lines between product runs. This will include breakdown of equipment, re-assembly/ set-up of the line to run the next product and assisting with line clearance. The Changeover Technician optimizes equipment performance by fine tuning and adjusting equipment to improve quality and efficiency and coordinates with maintenance for any assistance needed. This position is very experienced in packaging equipment operation, change overs, set up of equipment and works independently in the execution of duties on all packaging lines which will include sanitation and rust mitigation applications. This position will receive direction from the Supervisor and or Lead, and work closely with line leads to ensure schedule adherence.
